The team who brings you 888 Poker League and the Australian Poker League are excited to announce the Player of the Month promotion which begins August 1st 2012. This competition will see one 888 Poker League, Australian Poker League or Pub Poker player win a ticket into the World Series of Poker APAC Main Event every month.
As well as a ticket into the WSOP APAC Main Event the winner will be flown all expenses paid to Melbourne where they will stay for 7 nights at the Crown Casino while competing for one of five prestigious World Series of Poker Bracelets.
The Player of the Month (POTM) Final is an online event held at 888Poker on the last Saturday of every month where one lucky person will win the WSOP APAC package.
The first POTM Final will be held on Saturday August 25th at 9am AEST.
There are a number of ways to qualify for the POTM Final:
- The top 10 players from the POTM leader board for each state will qualify for the Player of the Month Final.
- The top 50 of the Weekly Winners Final (WWF) will qualify into the POTM Final. Simply win any in venue event to qualify for the Weekly Winners Final.
The WWF is an online event held at 888Poker every Saturday morning at 9am AEST. The top 50 from the WWF each week qualify directly into the Player of the Month Final. The first WWF will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 9am AEST.
To gain entry to the WWF you need to do the following;
1. Win an 888PL in venue regular tournament or special event
2. Download the 888Poker software here and open an account. NOTE; Do not download the software directly from 888Poker.com or you will not be able to view the WWF or POTM in the tournament lobby.
3. Once your account is created send your 888PL Member number and 888Poker username via email to Glyn@fullhousegroup.com.au
You will then be entered into the following weeks WWF.
Players who win a regular or special event from Monday - Sunday each week qualify for the following Saturdays Weekly Winners Final.
NB: The first Weekly Winners Final will be held on Sat 11th August at 9am AEST and players who win a regular or special event between Wed 1st and Sun 5th August will qualify for this event. |
