The Main Event

This exclusive tournament is held bi-annually at prestigious Australian Casinos, and will play host to both APL and 888PL members all competing for their portion of the prize pool.  Our inaugural Main Event III is scheduled for 20th- 24th February 2013. $100k in cash and prizes is guaranteed for first.

The Main Event will have an entry fee of $1,200 and will only be awarded to those who have directly qualified through State Championships, Special Events, Satellites, Pro Opens and other League promotions. Players are also eligible to buy in if they have accumulated over $1,200 in tournament winnings since October 1st. This is via the Main Event Bucks program. Additionally, players that win a Main Event seat must have played a minimum 10 APL and or 888PL games in the six-month Main Event qualification period.
