THE 888Poker League - THE PREMIER EVENT
The 888Poker League Grand Final is the ultimate destination for all 888PL players. Held bi-annually around the country, this prestigious event has an estimated prize pool of $200,000.
888 ambassadors Shane Warne and Jeff Fenech have both appeared at the previous two 888PL Grand Finals and were well received by the 600 players who attended the events.
Poker is served up all weekend at the 888PL Grand Final with last chance Grand Final Satellite tournaments, WSOP satellites, Aussie Millions satellites and 888PL staff bounty events, features of previous Grand Finals. It's an event worth travelling for because it'll be the poker experience of your life!
The next 888PL Grand Final will be held at Caulfield Racecourse 27-29th August, 2010
NB: Each 888PL Grand Final seat has a value of $500. So, if there are 500 people in the event, there will be $250,000 in the prize pool.
Qualification:
Players can qualify for the 888PL Grand Final in a number of ways:
- Finish in the top 3-20 at your state's Semi Final to gain entry
- States vary with the amount of seats given away
- Some (not all) packages include accommodation and flights. Check the state news story on Semi Finals for details
- Qualify via the Monthly Online Qualifying Final
- Play in the daily satellites and win your seat for as little as $5.50
- Play in a direct entry satellite held from time to time both in venue or online
- Qualify via a regional final in certain areas
- Keep your eye on the news stories for other special events that offer seat from time to time.
