Scoreboard Rules

The 888PL Away (in venue) Games Scoreboard

This scoreboard monitors and combines all of the results you have achieved within venues at live games; it  is where you track your progress across - venue, region and ultimately your state for all Away Games. 

You will notice that the default view is the Total Away Game scoreboard which is in actual fact, the State Scoreboard; you can filter this scoreboard to display, regional, venue and game scoreboards. Each scoreboard has different calculation methods:

STATE SCOREBOARD

• Qualification: To appear on this scoreboard you must play a minimum of 10 away games across the state.
• Ranking: This scoreboard is ranked by AVERAGE point score, the average is calculated by using your 10 best AWAY game scores and calculating the average of these 10 games.
• Reward: Each season there will be a minimum$1,000 in prizes given away for the Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian Scoreboards. For more details please refer to the prizes section of the website.

REGIONAL SCOREBOARD

• Qualification: To appear on this scoreboard you must play a minimum of 10 away games within the Region
• Ranking: This scoreboard is ranked by AVERAGE point score, the average is calculated by using your 10 best AWAY game scores and calculating the average of these 10 games.
• Reward:  Each season the Regional winner will be awarded a Trophy, 888PL Regional winner's Hat and Polo.

VENUE SCOREBOARD

• Qualification: There are no qualification criteria for this scoreboard.
• Ranking: This scoreboard is calculated by the TOTAL points that have been accumulated within this venue. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a GAME scoreboard; rather it is the combination of all events and games played within this venue.
• Reward: Each Season the venue winner will receive a Trophy to celebrate their success as the best/most consistent player within the venue.

GAME SCOREBOARD

• Qualification: There are no qualification criteria for this scoreboard.
• Ranking: This scoreboard is ranked by the TOTAL points that have been accumulated for this GAME only.
• Reward: The top 5 of each AWAY Game scoreboard will receive entry into the State Semi Final. For more details please refer to the prizes section of the website.

NOTE: There may be requirements or terms and conditions governing participation in the Semi Final or Grand Final; please refer to the 888PL Member Charter for more details!
